7th/8th grade MFA Field Trip
7th and 8th graders are invited to join their Sunday School class on Sunday, April 28 for our annual field trip to Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts! Please come to class at 9:45 a.m. so that we can depart together. (Rides will be provided by youth leaders.) We will tour the MFA’s Ancient Near East exhibit to learn more about the Old Testament world, putting our Old Testament Survey in context. Lunch will be provided at the museum before returning to FCCH. All students will need a completed 2023-24 FCCH Youth Waiver in order to participate. Please sign up by Tuesday, April 23.
Middle School Explore
Students entering grades 6, 7, and 8 are invited to join us as we explore the North Shore and our faith this July 15-19. We will be meeting Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and on Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Transportation to offsite events will be provided by FCCH leaders. The cost of all activities, transportation, and a snack each day is included in the $80 registration fee.
Our Students are encouraged to participate in corporate worship, service, and life together beyond our youth ministry offerings. We hope that our youth ministry will be the catalyst for lifelong participation in the local church. Our Milestones initiative encourages this mindset through various rites of passage.
