Stewardship update

Dear Church Family,
By the goodness of God and through your faithfulness, I am pleased to report that we have met our 2021 budget with respect to giving.  Thank you all so much for your sacrificial contributions.  It will take some time to finalize our spending for 2021, so we will provide an update on our overall financial performance when this information is available.

It is helpful to meet the budget, of course, in order to pay our bills and maintain our facilities.  But there are broader implications to your generosity.  Covid permitting, we are planning to resume our full spectrum of ministry activities in 2022.  By entering the new year "in the black" we can confidently dream about how we might engage our community and our world for the gospel.  The budget is a bunch of numbers, but each line represents needy souls who we have the privilege of serving in the name of our Lord.  Which is just another way of saying...It's not about money, it's about ministry!

We wish you a joyful and blessed New Year.

Why we give

As Christians, we want to reflect the character of God. God is generous and so we want to be as well.  What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps to demonstrate the heart of the gospel. The mark of a Christian is love, and the evidence of love is giving. We love because God first loved us. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son. We give because God gave His best to us.

Our budget is voted on and made available to all members at our annual congregational meeting in November. If you have any questions related to giving, please email Thank you for supporting the work and movement of the gospel in the North Shore and beyond.
