Partnering
with students to become passionate Life-Worshippers of God.
God is the Focus of our life-worship.
(Romans 12:1-2)
We commit Instructionally
to provide Biblically based and applicable teaching in a variety of
venues.
We commit Relationally to
love students with our lives and help them grow in their relationship
with God, family, and friends.
We commit Experientially to
provide challenging opportunities for students to see God working in
and through them.
Thank you for taking the time to glance
at our Youth Ministries. God is doing exciting things with and through
the young people. We are focusing on developing students into "life-worshippers"
of God. It is our conviction that everything we do can bring glory
and praise to God when we pursue God's best with all that we are.
God has also blessed us with a wonderful community of over 20 leaders
who invest their time and energy into helping each student reach this
goal.
Junior
High (7th & 8th grade):
Junior High meets Tuesday Nights from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
in the Barn (The Yellow Structure behind the Wigglesworth-Cutler House
and in front of the parking lot). Our Junior High, for 7th and
8th graders, is a high-energy opportunity to have fun, bring friends,
and grow to understand how following Jesus is the best kind of life.
Senior
High (9th - 12th grade):
Senior High meets Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.,
in the BARN. In addition to regular meetings, we also offer
special opportunities for service, camps, and retreats. All of
these different programs are tools to challenge each student to grow
in understanding the Christian faith and how following Jesus is the
best kind of life.
Sunday Morning Bible Study (7th - 12th grade):
Sunday mornings all the youth gather together for Sunday Morning Bible
Study in the Barn. We meet between the two services from 9:30
until 10:45 a.m. for a time of worship through music, prayer
and applicable Biblical teaching.
Youth
Small Groups:
The Junior and Senior High ministries both offer small groups, which
meet at different times throughout the week and are facilitated by a
youth leader. They generally consist of two to six students who
meet to study the Bibl, develop friendships, work on service projects,
have fun, and share life with each other. We think these are great
opportunities for each student to grow and mature in the relationship
with Jesus and other students..
Short Term Youth
Missions Trips:
Each summer there is a short term missions trip or training event (Jamaica
99, DCLA 2000, Dominican Republic 2001). These trips have proven to
be rich times of service, and growth. Information for this summer's
trip will be available before the new year. |
