The College Ministry of the First Congregational Church of Hamilton is about people, not programs. Under the direction and power of the Holy Spirit, we desire: 1) to build up college students to a mature faith in Jesus Christ; 2) to empower students to be involved in the life of the larger church body; and 3) to encourage the church body to minister to and be ministered by college students. Our desire is to walk with students in faith in order to equip and challenge them to a lifetime of devotion to Christ. This is facilitated through Sunday school, discipling/mentoring, small groups, socials, and retreats. Through our Adopt-a-Student program and helping students discover areas of service in the church, we hope they will become increasingly involved in the church community. Because Students are an invaluable part of our community, we seek both to minister to them as well as encourage them in the unique ways they contribute to the life of the Church. College-age Sunday School: Our Sunday School program is designed to give students solid biblical teaching, Christ-centered worship, and meaningful fellowship. The class currently meets in the kitchen of the Wigglesworth-Cutler House, next to the church, at 9:45-10:45 a.m., and breakfast is served every week. We welcome all college students to join us each week for Sunday School and worship! If you have any questions about how to get involved in First Congregational Church or if you need support, encouragement, prayer, or simply a ride to the airport, please let us know. We are here to serve you! The College Ministry Team:
