| The First Congregational Church is engaged in and supports a wide variety of mission endeavors both near and far, locally and globally. We partner with twenty-five mission families serving in twenty-one different countries.
In addition, the congregation frequently sends individuals and teams to do mission and humanitarian work serving a variety of needs. In recent years teams have worked in Boston, New York City, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Jamaica, Mexico, France, Croatia, India, Thailand, Chad, Ghana, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
Our church supports our local food pantry, serves meals at the Salem Mission, and individuals participate in many programs including prison ministries, crisis pregnancy centers, and outreach to merchant marine sailors.
