Gathering For Hope North Shore

The mission statement of Gathering for Hope is a group of women learning and discerning together how God can use them to bring help and hope to women and girls around the world. Our goal is to make ourselves aware of the complex economic, social, cultural, gender and religious dynamics that have produced so much abuse and oppression of females, and then to determine what role there might be for us individually and corporately to help. We meet on the first Monday of the month at Christ Church, 149 Asbury Street, Hamilton from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Most monthly meetings include a speaker knowledgeable about a particular area of oppression and opportunity. For more information, please contact Tricia Johnson,

Lifebridge Mission, Salem

On the first Friday of each month, a team of dedicated volunteers from our church travel to the Lifebridge mission in Salem to prepare and serve a hot meal to as many as 60 to 85 homeless men, women and sometimes even children. We’ve been doing this for over a decade. If you would like to help, please contact our church coordinator Bob Cummings,
